Engine / Transmission Mounts
GMT manufacture a large range of mounts suitable for supporting engine and transmission systems within static and mobile applications. For mobile applications, captive mountings would usually be offered, such as GMT cone mountings, which can withstand the high static and dynamic shock loadings associated with off-highway environments as well as offering isolation of the engine and transmission system from the vehicle structure.
For static applications, either captive or non-captive mountings can be provided, both of which will help prevent harmful vibration from travelling back through the machinery and also to the surrounding area.
