Compaction Equipment Mounts
Over the years GMT has built up a large range of heavy duty mounts especially for the compaction industry.
These mounts are supplied to numerous major OEMs worldwide, for use on plate compactors, walk-behind rollers, ride-on rollers and towed rollers.
GMT mounts have been incorporated in to handle systems in both plate compactors and walk-behind rollers, where results have shown a significant reduction in hand-arm vibration. With this reduced level of vibration transmission, operator time and therefore productivity can be increased.
GMT can also offer specialist mounts to provide isolation of the vibration drum or plate, preventing fatigue and wear on moving parts and enhancing the vibratory capabilities of the compaction equipment. These mounts are subjected to very high shear and compression loading and also extreme environmental working conditions.
