Cab / Trailer Suspension Mounts

GMT manufactures a wide range of mountings suitable for cab and vehicle suspensions. In this type of application the use of maintenance-free mountings with a long service life is necessary.

If required, mounts can be manufactured in rubber compounds suitable for extreme climates and resistant to oil and grease.

For the bedding of the vehicle cab we recommend the use of GMT cone mountings. The special design of these mountings provides a different stiffness in each of the three main axes. This protects the cab from noise and vibration and also offers a high level of comfort for the operator whilst working in the most demanding of conditions. Also available are resilient bushes suitable for integration within ROPS & FOPS applications.

GMT can offer various components suitable for use on off-highway vehicle suspensions. The combination of link arms controlling lateral forces in both transverse and longitudinal directions, bolster springs or air springs offering variable spring rate plus rocking beam and A frame bearings and bushes capable of accommodating torsional and angular movement in all 3 axes, ensures superior ride quality in harsh and challenging environments.
